I am 74 years old and have had COPD for over 30 years as well as allergies. I was told there was no cure—that it was a progressive disease that they would try to slow the progression and treat the symptoms.
When I came to Born Clinic, I was designated end-stage COPD and was taking prednisone, which was losing its effect and would have to be increased. I was receiving palliative care that would transfer to hospice as my condition worsened.
Since treatment at the Born Clinic, I am no longer considered end-stage. Where I only could walk slowly, I now can go at a fast pace. I have lots of energy. My exhalation has improved and the lung inflammation has immensely improved.
NOTE: I have only been coming to the Born Clinic since September 6, 2009—just over two months!

Although I’ve come to Born Clinic in recent years for hormone replacement therapy, the most recent story took place during 2008/2009. I had become severely depressed, did not want to get up in the morning; began to have anxiety attacks, frantic feelings of fear. There had been some stressful personal events in my life that were draining me emotionally and physically. During that time, I feared losing my mind, felt confused often, and could not focus well. Finally I went for help to Born Clinic, in my desperation.
The doctors and nurses were attentive and conscientious in their approach and testing to find out the cause for my problems. Neurotransmitter tests plus hormone level checks revealed the reasons for my dilemma. I was given an anti-depressant initially, because of the severity of my condition. (I’m off anti-depressants now.) Supplements were given to increase serotonin and dopamine levels in the brain. Hormone shots have made a huge difference in my sense of well-being too.
My entire outlook is full of hope now. I can focus well and function in my everyday life. I’ve gone from hiding in the dark, to dancing in the light. There is hope.
Thank you so much—all staff at Born Clinic. You’ve made an amazing difference in my life.

About six years ago, my eye doctor informed me that my eyes were developing cataracts. About three years after that, another optometrist diagnosed cataracts again.
Since then, I have received 6-8 months of Vitamin C IVs, and now my eye doctor informs me that there is no sign of cataracts at all!
Thanks to the Born Clinic!

I came to see Dr. Pedtke in the autumn of 2007 with a chronic cough and a history of Hashimoto’s Disease and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome from 1996-1998. After taking a full blood spectrum test for food sensitivities, I was instructed by Dr. Pedtke to remove 14 different foods from my diet for six months. After only two weeks, my chronic cough went away and, since then, with the aid of multi-vitamins and minerals and a prescription of progesterone, my energy is excellent, my health is strong and my spirit is happy!
I am forever grateful for Dr. Pedtke’s help, her compassion and insight, at a time in my life when I was in great need. Bless you!
